Beyonce’s 3rd solo album has secured her a third consecutive number one spot on The Billboard 200. According to Nielsen Soundscan, I Am...Sasha Fierce sold an impressive 482,000 copies in its first week of sales. In other B news, the age-old question regarding her age has set tongues wagging again. According to SandraRose.com Gabrielle Union spilled the beans and said ‘Beyonce and I have been friends since we were teenagers. We go to the same hairstylist now and you know how those bonds are! B is such a polite, nurturing person and a joy to work with. It’s easy to work with her because she is a good friend of mine’. So if Gabrielle’s 36 and she is saying that she and B were friends as teenagers, then that makes Beyonce...?
 

2) THEY DID ME PROUD
In a recent interview with XXL, Pusha T (one half of rap group The Clipse) expressed his gratitude for the Hip Hop tours that have taken place this year. He said of the gigs ‘What I loved about hip-hop was the concerts in 08. I mean you had the Glow In The Dark, you had like Common and N.E.R.D, what else I catch…You had Jeezy, there was just like a lot of concert series and I appreciated it...it was great to see people get they money up, put their money together to come out and support the music and be entertained’.

3) SEE YOU NEXT YEAR
One of this column's favourite sites, MediaTakeOut, is reporting that Go-Girl Ciara has been pushed back. The site is reporting that CiCi’s upcoming project Fantasy Ride has come to halt. MTO stated ‘All you Ciara fans looking forward to hearing her new album Fantasy Ride you may be out of luck. A little birdie told MediaTakeOut.com that Ciara's latest album - which was already pushed back twice is on the verge of OFFICIALLY BEING SCRAPPED!!! Why you ask. According to MediaTakeOut.com's source - the execs aren't happy with the sound of it’. Guess we’ll have to wait a little longer.
 

4) HE IS MUSIC
Principal rapper of 2008 Lil' Wayne has announced that he will be hitting the road and treating fans to a dazzling show. The rapper recently announced dates for his upcoming I Am Music Tour. The 24 city show will kick off in Miami on December 14th and will end on January 19th is Massachusetts. Support acts on the tour include Keyshia Cole, T-Pain, Keri Hilson and the Gym Class Heroes. In other Weezy news, a diss song has just hit the net and is targeting 50 Cent. The song is entitled Louisianimal and goes at 50 hard. Here is one of the bars Weezy spits ‘All about a dollar, f–k Two Quarters/ B!$%h, I’ll pour syrup in that vitamin water/ I hope you die ugly, and tonight will be gorgeous’. This is gonna get interesting as 50 has been throwing jabs for a long time!
 

5) NO SURPRISE
With the way she has changed both her image and before our eyes, it would come as no surprise that former Danity Kane member, Aubrey O’Day has reportedly shed her clothes for a cover in Playboy Magazine. According to various internet sites, O’Day spent the whole day Wednesday shooting the nude centrefold. Apparently, her pictures will appear in the upcoming issue of the publication. After what Diddy had to say on the double finale of MTB4, I think it’s safe to assume that he won’t be happy!
