HE’S AN ALL TIME GREAT
Music Industry veteran and Island Def Jam chairman Antonio ‘L.A.’ Reid recently shed light on his thoughts concerning music mogul 50 Cent’s accomplishment’s. In a recent interview with all time great Charlie Rose L.A. said of Mr Jackson ‘50 Cent is one of the all time greatest [rappers]. He's one of the greats. First of all, he had a great voice and as a rapper, an amazing voice. He’s authentic, he is also a great song writer’.
 

GUESS WHO’S DATING
There is actually no concrete evidence concerning this rumour. But US entertainment site MediaTakeOut.com has said that they have an exclusive surrounding Keyshia Cole’s new love interest. According to MTO a little birdie told them that Cole is dating New York rapper Maino. But if your minds rewind back to a few months ago, Maino was also linked to R&B singer Mya. Hmmm what to believe?!?
 

MADE IT TO THE BIG TIME
According to Bossip.com, Kid Cudi has recently inked a deal with Universal Motown. BACK TO REALITY
On a little US talent show called American Idol a true star was born in Fantasia Barrino. So starring in another reality show should be a piece of cake for the NAACP and 8x’s Grammy nominated singer. According to ConcreteLoop.com, Fantasia has signed on to do a reality show with VH1. The site has quoted Jeff Olde, VP of Original Programming, as saying ‘Fantasia has one of the most fascinating stories in show business, from her tough upbringing to her meteoric rise on the national scene thanks to Idol. Her challenges from fame and her unwillingness to fail have combined to create a larger-than-life talent who appeals to music lovers around the world. So many people wanted to work with her on this, but Fantasia is now part of the VH1 family, and we’re so happy to have her’.
 

THIRD TIMES A CHARM
In the current dwindling musical climate artists are happy just to push a few thousand copies of their projects. So Yonkers native Jadakiss must be ecstatic as his 3rd studio album The Last Kiss hit the number 3 position on the Billboard 200 Chart. The album sold an impressive 135,000 copies in its first week of sales. Keri Hilson’s In a Perfect World came in at number 15 and FloRida landed at number 17 selling a mediocre 32,000 copies.
