1) I’M JUST A REGULAR GUY
Unless you were residing under a rock somewhere then you would have heard T2’s smash hit Heartbroken riding the airwaves heavily last year. This year the musical talent is back with a new sound and outlook. In a recent interview with RWD the beat-maker disclosed that since his success he has been locked away taking care of his business and making sure that his music is tight. He said of his timeout from the scene ‘I also took time out to invent my own style of production, because I wanted to stand alone rather than be always tagged to bassline’. The mag also touched on his new found fame to which he responded ‘Being famous was very awkward because I’m a very regular person, I still do normal things like go out and about on my own and all of a sudden I’m just getting noticed left right and centre, but it’s ok because I received a lot of love from people through the whole journey. I don’t see myself as any form of celebrity I’m just the same regular guy’.

SAVING LIVES
According to RWDmag.com, UK pop star Jamelia is lending a helping hand to help feed some of the poorest children around the world. The School Food Trust and WFP (UN World Food Programme) will together lead the Really Good School Dinner from the 26th to 30th January 09. During the assigned week, school children will be asked to donate 10p each time they have a school meal, providing meals for children in countries like Kenya, Cambodia and Zambia (to name a few). When being interviewed by RWD about her role in the project, the singer said ‘I have two daughters so I know what healthy food they have access to everyday at school and this project will allow my daughters and children across the country to help kids throughout the world to eat everyday too. This campaign brings that home because by donating an extra 10p, when children empty their own plate in England they will be helping fill another in the developing world’.
